Our First Artsfest (with mixed results)!

What a weekend! Not only was it Artsfest weekend, it was also my grandpa’s 90th birthday in Oklahoma. My mom and dad set up our booth, and then Mom and I headed for Oklahoma with cakes and cupcakes. 
 
We Amycakes' bakers thought we’d baked plenty for two days of celebrating on Walnut Street, but the beautiful weather and the fantastic response from customers helped us sell out of everything on Saturday! I appreciate my employees, their helpers, and my dad for working so hard at Artsfest. And I appreciate you for stopping by our booth!
 
If I’d been in town, I would have baked all night to restock and open on Sunday. I’m sorry that so many were disappointed!
 
It was a great party in Oklahoma, though, for a fabulous grandpa. Happy birthday, Pa!

hi, my name is aleshia i stoped by a couple days ago i loooove your page i can tell how much you love to bake and i want to tell you that i read your whole page and it inspires me. for as long as i can remember i have wanted to own a bakery. i already have my name picked out and everything. the name will be raina's bakery and studio. studio because my moms an artist and i will be hopfully puting up her art and i'm hoping it will also be downtown so i can have all kinds of artists for first friday art walk up on my walls....... anyway i love your shop and you guys seem really nice
