Guess What??!!!

So, Amycakes has been closed this week, making repairs and resting but also…. EXPERIMENTING WITH CUPCAKE FLAVORS!!!!!!

Can you tell I’m excited??  I spent a full two days working with some of our already awesome recipes and creating many, MANY new flavor combinations.  Why am I doing this?  Well, one, it’s hard to find time to experiment when working at a busy bakery.  And two, I have something else to be excited about……

When we open back up on August 2nd it will be our TWO YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!!!  Can you believe it?  And what better way to celebrate than with lots of awesome new cupcakes?!?  And as a present to all of you faithful customers (and hopefully new people that really need to try us out!) we will be featuring one new super-fancy, delicious, and of course made-from-scratch cupcakes for only $1 every day for our birthday week.  (while they last, one cupcake at this price per person, regularly $2.50).

A special thanks to our lovely Sierra at the bakery who brainstormed to come up with lots of delicious cupcake ideas, and to all of my friends and family who didn’t mind taste-testing about 24 different and NEW cupcakes.
